Beginner Recorder Group is open to those with some initial experience of playing recorder in school.

If you don’t have your own instrument, please contact us regarding hiring an instrument to use for the ensemble and to enable practice opportunities at home.

This group is for players who have recently started playing (they will need to know at least four notes) up to approximately Grade 2 standard. Skills that are learned while playing music together in this group include being able to work as a team, and developing listening skills to be able to play together.
