We’re incredibly excited about this year’s Big Gig which is returning in both an in-person live performance and livestreamed formats, to be held at the Vertu Motors Arena on Wednesday 21st June 2023.
The theme for this year is Back to the 80s so dust off your leg warmers, rewind the cassettes on your Walkman and get ready to join us! We have ten fantastic songs all ready to go - you can download the parts and backing tracks below.
You will need the password given to your school when you signed up to access each song page. Any problems, or if you would like to know how to sign up for Big Gig 2023, please email SISMusicHubAdmin@newcastle.gov.uk.

Lyrics: There are elements of singing in all of the parts, but if you have a class unable to play any of the parts, or you’d prefer to focus on a smaller number of songs, feel free to sing some of the rest!
Chords (Intermediate/Advanced): This part might enable an older student to come up with notes of their own, a teacher to play alongside the class, or if you’d like to change some of the notes in another part, this will be a useful guide.
